As a community concert band, we aim to promote musical education by performing at concerts for the musical pleasure of the community, encourage participation amongst students and performers, both young and adults, maintain an active liaison with schools in the region, and most importantly, we aim to have fun and play music we all enjoy.
We can’t do this without you.
The Woodville Concert Band is always seeking new members. Young or old, experienced or inexperienced, you’ll enjoy the excitement and challenges of the music that we perform.

Membership Subscriptions
At Woodville Concert Band, we believe that making music should be affordable and accessible to everyone. We invite prospective members to come along and enjoy a few free trial rehearsals before deciding to join, giving you the opportunity to meet the band, experience our rehearsals and see if we’re the right fit for you.
We offer a tiered membership subscription after your free trial visits:
- Concession – $30 per year
- Low Income (self-assessed) – $60 per year
- Standard – $120 per year
- Pay It Forward – $250 per year
Subscriptions cover the period between our Annual General Meetings (AGMs), which are typically held in April.
Our Pay It Forward membership helps subsidise subscriptions for members experiencing financial hardship. If cost is a barrier to joining, we encourage you to speak with a member of our committee or email secretary@woodvillecb.com.au.
